The North Coast of Trinidad looking into the Paramin Hills and then from the Maracas Road (built by US Army Corps of Engineers during WWII) looking out West into the Gulf of Paria (over Port of Spain). Then the view is of Maracas to Las Cuevas, then Port of Spain and the grand houses overlooking the Savanna. Street scenes in city: several elaborate buildings; "gingerbread" design houses; cupolas; mansard roofs columns,etc. Mosque with "onion" domed roof and minarets. Distant view of city, countryside. Yellow mat. Decrepit building. Workers in marsh or bog or paddy. Ox cart: loaded with cane ( ? ). Carrying bread(?) on board on head. General views of suburban homes, town homes and foliage. |
