Description

Thin board. Hole bored near top, center, through which string is drawn to hang it up. Abrahamic prayer written in Arabic. Used in Koranic schools to practice writing; also, Koranic verses are written on them, then washed off, the ink solution then being drunk as a charm to ward off evil and sickness.
