| Description | Hollow brass owl container. Made using the Dhokra Lost Wax brass casting process as part of a demonstration at The University Museum on April 4, 1986 under the auspices of Mahamaya, an exhibit sponsored by the Crafts Council of West Bengal at the Port of History Museum, Philadelphia. The casting was done by Haradan Karmarkar of Kariapur, West Bengal. |
