| Description | Flat bottom, very broad. Body in two parts, both broad, defined by sharp articulation. Center of top has deep recess with strainer; this is surrounded by a cover collar. On shoulder is a vertical ring handle with two longitudinal grooves. At right angles to handle is a lion head spout. On collar is painted a wave pattern. On shoulder is a tongue pattern. Intact. Underside finished but unglazed. Pinkish buff clay. |
