Description | Decorated on both surfaces (faint on interior) in black glaze. On exterior part of a checkerboard design with 5 parallel, fairly thin lines set at an angle to it. On interior, a curved (?) line, a straight line with a solid rectangular area projecting at right angles to it. Reddish buff clay. Both surfaces are well polished and fired buff. |
