Description | Black-gloss bowl. Embelma bowl. High ring base. Reddish buff clay with black, metallic glaze. Thick walled. Rouletted pattern around a crudely formed central boss. Atop the boss is a female head with crudely formed features, heavy braids, and a "Phyrgian" cap. |
