Description | Wooden Zuni Katsina doll with movable arms. The face is painted white with eyes in the shape of commas. The mouth is a tube of leather split into three sections. The face is bordered by a black and white line. Tadpoles are painted on the back of the head. Black yarn is wrapped around the neck. A white, cloth blanket is worn over the body with painted designs along the edges. A feather is inserted into the blanket below the neck. |
