| Description | Point or arrowhead. Diamond shaped bifacially retouched tool. Projections at sides. Long point. Projections at widest point. Short rounded end. Black opaque obsidian. 29-183-6 is one of many stemmed points in the collection. It is particularly similar to 29-183-7 only slightly smaller. Stemmed points or arrowheads appear in sites from the Late Paleolithic to Yayoi Period. Without context arrowheads such as these can only be assigned a broad date range. |
