Description

Diamond shaped kite made of thin paper attached to a framework of crossed sticks, and reinforced by strings. The strings are held to the paper by small orange lozenge-shaped pieces of other paper pasted over them at numerous points. One of three "Malay kites" on Furness's collection list (Nos. 174, 175, 176). One of "3 Malay kites - 2 sticks, covered w diamonds" exhibited at Wistar in May 1897.
