Description

One bead and one metal point. Both objects were found together, so they were assigned the same CG number. Curved tube bead. Decorated with colorful geometric pattern. Metal point, triangular in shape. Both objects found together with a note that reads: "Copper point form Hopewell campsite in southern Illinois (?) Left inadvertently on my desk by Mr. Willie Smith of Illinois Arch. Soc., after visit here June 10, 1953." Reverse side of note references the Hidatsa and North dakota, however, most of the text is illegible.
