Description | 27 total tubular and discoidal beads made of jadeite? 2 beads are more rectangular and one is incised with a human face in profile. 1 bead has a provenience of Chama written and 1 has an illegible number but was grouped with these for convenience. Originally strung with some accessioned beads to form 2 necklaces to be considered for the Painted Metaphors exhibit. 11 of the beads are grouped from 1 necklace and 16 are grouped from a second necklace. Accessioned beads from these 2 necklaces often had high counts and many beads missing from their count. These unnumbered beads may be the missing beads in those counts.
