Description | This object is a lithic and is 9 ⅕ inches long. Both the ANSP and loan numbers are visible on a rounded, long edge. There is one flat face and one rounded face, described in the Catalogue Card as plano-convex. The stone is not a uniform color but has streaks of brown, beige, gray, and white on both the flat and rounded faces. The rounded face is stained with a red color, presumably iron. The working edge is curved and worn very smooth. The lithic overall is grooved in the same direction as the streaks of color. |
