Sommerville: Agate. Rude carving, characteristic of the ninth century. A double head. Maculated Pebbles, Etc, Case JJ.

Vermeule: Agate. Cameo. (Unmounted). A double head bearded male to left and female with long hair to right, termed by Sommerville "characteristic of the IXth century." Medieval.
