Description | Cylindrical wooden drum made from a single piece of wood. Flared at the bottom. Lower third has two carved bands of geometric designs with a band of carved animals between and shallow vertical channels below. Plaited rattan peel rings at the top, middle and bottom. The bottom is attached to the drum with bands of peel. Drum head has white and gray fur still attached. Four wooden peg spacers to keep the drum head taut. Gendong. |
