Description

Closed box sled with collapsible ribbed hood of seal hair which has iron ring at peak of front rib; top and front of enlcosed area covered with spotted seal stretched over wooden box; sides covered with scraped hide; apron of seal hair and all other skins nailed to frame; hide thongs attach carved wooden toggles to apron; hood apron edged with fur; box supported by three pairs of supports which span runners and are lashed and pegged to carved wooden runners which are raised and pointed from sled frame and are laced to bed of sled with hide thongs.
