Description

Bagobo man’s trousers called saroár. Gussets in four pieces at crotch. Plain weave of red cotton. White beads and shells embroidered in geometric design at leg openings. Complete and in good condition. Displayed at the Louisiana Purchase Exposition in St. Louis in 1904.
