| Description | Rim-sherd from a closed vessel. Fine, pink (7.5 YR 7/4) clay, with decoration in red to brown paint and added white paint. Slipped with pink (7.5 YR 8/4) slip and burnished. Thickened rim. Band on rim; running spirals with large centers. Added white: tiny dots on centers of spirals; thin bands on rim band. The date is based on the type of spirals. |
