Description | Small round-topped limestone votive stela decorated with incised relief. An unknown amount of the stela is missing at the bottom. Incised borderline parallels the edge of the stelae at the left, right and top. At the left is an image of the god Ptah, standing and facing right. He has a tassel at his neck and traces of a wesekh collar. His extended hands hold a badly-damaged was scepter. At the right is the damaged image of a standing worshipper, who faced left. Above the figures are four columns of text, centered on the line of Ptah's was scepter. The two on the left record the name of Ptah and an epithet. The two columns at the right appear to record the name and title of the dedicator (Sw...?). |
