| Description | Rim-sherd from a straight-sided cup. Fine, pinkish gray (7.5YR 7-8/2) clay, with decoration in black paint. Wiped with water and burnished. Interior painted. Grass or reed (FM 16). See vol. I, no. 47. A very common motif, discussed by Furumark 1941: Motif 16, and Niemeier 1980: 27-28. |
