| Description | Rim-sherd from a conical cup with a pronounced base. Fine, light reddish brown (2.5YR 6/4) clay with a paler surface, with decoration in dark brown paint. Wiped with water and burnished. Interior painted. Diagonal foliate band and isolated spiral, between bands. Comments: LM IB-IIIA. The base is unusual, and the isolated spiral within an open field may indicate a LM IIIA date. Bibliography: Possibly Luce 1921: 26, no. 83; Silverman 1978 a: 118, no. 288, fig. 5, no. 7, and pl. 13d, no. 3. |
