| Description | Jug with trefoil mouth and one vertical handle (oinochoe). Medium textured, reddish yellow (5 YR 6/6) clay with light and dark inclusions and many "lime pops." Covered with pink (7.5 YR 8/4) slip. Decoration preserved only as traces. Intact except for small repair at rim; surface eroded. A common shape at Gournia and elsewhere in Crete. The "Gournia Findbook" refers to many examples. Decoration, when it occurs, is simple. Compare (among others) Sackett and Popham 1970: fig. 14, no.
