Description

Hair band. Zoomorphic designs of birds and plants. Black ground with white, red, green, magenta, yellow and blue cotton. Two tasseled fringes. Aniline dyes used.

As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 104 epi, two ply, black and white cotton. Weft: 26 ppi, two strands, two ply, black cotton. Warp faced plain weave. Supplementary weft is double faced. Woven on a backstrap loom."
