Description | Head, elongated neck and feet--all rendered in round and high relief. Spreading from these are a pair of wings and bifurcated tail, all flat and undecorated. Piece probably cast as a singnle unit. Beak projects horizontally, curved only at tip. Eyes: globular pellet with surrounding ring; ears stick out behind eyes. Top of head decorated with flat cap of 1 curved band. Neck undecorated. Curved wings fully extended and raised. Tips of tail rounded. |
