Description

Vermeule: Intaglio. Red jasper. Perforated. Divinity standing to left, holding orb in right hand. Tree at left, lion at right. Imitations of Greek letters in the field at left. Derived from Graeco-Roman gem or medallion reverse. Sassanian.
