Description | Sash with black and white wool stripes. One section 84cm at end is embroidered with purple, orange, white, blue and aqua silk thread in triangle and diamond design. Loose threads twisted into fringe at both ends. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 66 epi, two ply, white and black wool. Weft: 22 ppi, two ply, black wool. Warp faced plain weave. Woven on a backstrap loom." |
