Description

Small flat base, nearly ovoid body, short neck with flaring rim, most of which is missing. A loop handle connects the rim and shoulder. On the shoulder is a snake in relief (tail missing), whoe head rests on the handle at the rim. On the shoulder not quite opposite the handle are two small knobs. Light red ware; dark brown slip on exterior, burnished. Handmade. Restored from sherds; incomplete.
