Description

Loin cloth (or apron) with an embroidered pattern in diamonds with birds head center. Warp fringe. Loin clothes of this shape are worn by the fishers, on going out fishing; the cloth is put on beginning at the back.

Patterned band, supplemental floats in orange and brown wool. Warp fringe. Waist band is a separate piece in a warp-faced plain weave stitched to top. Color(s): White cotton, and orange and brown camelid yarns.
