Description | This object is a lithic and is 4 ⅘ inches long. Both the ANSP and loan numbers are visible. Because the edges are rounded, the numbers are partially on the edge and partially on the side. Both sides are fairly smooth and flat with signs of pecking throughout. The side with the numbers is gray with pale red staining and pecking prevalent toward the working edge. The other side is gray with less staining present. The working edge is rounded, ground smooth, and sharp. Opposite the working edge is a roughly textured edge that appears to have been broken off as part of the manufacturing process. |
