| Description | Ring base, knob handle (now missing); circular body with a long wide nozzle; molded decoration of a band of circles with dots around the body aperture, around which is the lip of the discus, around which is a herring bone/garland, around which is a row of dots, and on the nozzle is an equally intricate decoration of lines and garlands above and below a band concentric circles and diamonds surrounded by dots; the top of the lamp is chipped; brown ware. Card says found with Byzantine lamps. |
