Description | Rectangular tablet. Inscribed trapazoid in each corner with drilled holes in between containing remains of iron nails and orange discoloration around nails. Two Latin inscriptions separated by vertical bar: L TVCCIVS DIODOTAE L PRIMVS PATRONVS TVCCIA L L OLYMP V A XIX. Translation: Lucius Tuccius Primus, freedman of Diodota (lies here.) The patron (put up this monument.) Tuccia Olympias, freedwoman of Lucius (Tuccius) (lies here.) She lived 19 years. |
