Description

Wood box with pink cotton. Used in game such as kumikō (組香) and genjikō (源氏香) or "incense distinguishing" games. Four groups of string in wooden box. Five in each group attached to the bottom of the box in four places and then knotted together at the other end. Top to box (16369C). Incense (16369A - missing). Porcelain box (16369D - missing).
