Description | Torque formed from a single, bronze rod, round in section toward back, where ends hook over each other; hammered flat and slightly wider around front half. Incised inscription in apparently legible cuneiform writing, but language unknown. Leichty and Sjoberg say not Sumerian or Akkadian (1972) Muhly says not Hittite but some sort of dedicatory inscription. |
