Description | Handle and much of mouth missing, now restored. Signs of burning. Clay: light buff, well smoothed, surface slightly lustrous. Paint slightly lustrous gray-orange to brown. Superior quality fabric, conceivably an import. Neck: solid with 3(?) reserve rings, 2 bands above handles, wide band below with 3 narrow reserve bands. Paint on handles and base. 4 latticed-triangles on shoulder, 2 wavy horizontal lines in handle-zone. |
