Description

Black slip jug; Complete; slip completely worn off; one side of rim caved in; rim chipped at pouring part; vertical handle from rim to shoulder. Ring base; depressed ovoid body with greatest diameter at low shoulder; wide, tall, nearly staight neck, flaring toward pouring part of rim; pinched rim; vertical handle from rim to shoulder. Neatly executed horizontal incised lines encircling shoulder; vertical flutes on body.
