As preserved, resembles fish-plate shape. Overhanging rim, top surface sloping gently to center. Upper surface has band of alternating purple and black tongue pattern at outer edge and around center; reserved line halfway in, otherwise black glazed. Under surface reserved except for wide black glazed band around outer edge and two thin, widely separated glazed lines in reserved area. Minor parts of rim and floor and all of base except traces of join missing.
