Description | Brown, fine-grained rock with concoidal fracture. The shape is possible that of an elongated four-sided diamond. Base: pointed. Most of flake scars are perpendicular to edges. Tang: one of the tang edges straight; other is slightly convex. Tang-tip junction: Both edges have bulges at junction of tang and tip. These are not the same distance from the base. Both surfaces have non-parallel flake scars. Flatter flaking on one surface, resulting in planoconvex cross-section. Tip element broken. |
