Description

Base and stem a series of stepped moldings. Shallow bowl. Lip only slightly articulated, concave in profile. Handles approach horse-shoe shaped in plan, attached nearly horizontally to lip. Impressed beneath glaze on center of floor, from center out: a pair of wheel-run lines; a circle of 8 outline palmettes; a broad band of rouletting. Restored from fragments; complete save for a small piece of bowl. Unglazed: resting surface, a narrow band at bottom of stem inside; top of stem inside except for a glazed circle. Otherwise covered with good quality blue-black glaze.
