Description | Two non-joining rim-sherds from one or two jars; flat, outturned rim with short neck; ridege at juncture between neck and shoulder. Coarse, unevenly colored reddish brown (2.5 YR 5/4) clay, with a pink slip on the exterior, burnished, with decoration in brown to black paint. Handmade. Rim and neck painted; running spirals with solid centers on shoulder. Surface eroded. Shape similar to 622 [MS 4720] and 625 [MS 4647], but with no spout preserved.
