Description | More than half of upper body preserved. Flat shoulder, shape possibly like _MP_, 44, Fig. 12:182 (Myc. IIIB), otherwise despressed globular. Clay: buff to pinkish buff, wet smoothed. Paint: light red-brown, spread thin in patches. Hand painted concentric circles on disk; on handles solid color except for reserved triangles on top. Stripe at botton of false neck, around mouth and base of spout. Outside rim of shoulder and below shoulder stripes and narrow reserved rings. On shoulder: 2 (and probably 4) unvoluted flower designs like _MP_, 293, Fig. 45:126-7 (Myc. IIIB). |
