Description

Two-"legged" wood base with opposing holes for spool attachment, surmounted by Janus-type heads carved from single piece of wood and with spool like portion of wood remained between uncarved backs of heads. Headresses (hair?) worked to form point to facilitate movement of heddle through warp threads. Mounted on black wood base.
