Description | Vermeule: Hyancinth. Intaglio. (Modern Gold Ring Setting) Nike driving a biga of horses to left. She holds a wreath in her extended left hand, a palm over her shoulder in the right. Since the attributes are reversed the intaglio is carried directly. Reman Republican, the design recalling that on Consular Denarii. |
