Description | Coarse pottery resembling cooking fabric. Hard, reddish brown clay and brown surface. Presumably from closed vessel. On exterior is crudely incised, evidently after firing, part of an ovoid structure in outline (a tomb monument?) to which adhere above and at one side two and part of a third crosses, the arms at right angles to one another with a terminal bar at the end of each arm. Linear ornament inside the structure includes the date. 1936. |
