Description

Vermeule: Intaglio. Scarab: Red jasper. (Modern gilt swiveled ring setting). A nereid-like figure, her body ending in a fish tail, appears to be blowing double flutes, all to the left. A trident and a dagger appear in the field. Cable border. Italo-Etruscan.
