Sherd

Wall fragment of closed vessel. Left leg of a male, perhaps a satyr. striding or running to left, preserved from just above knee downward, heel missing. An animal's tail, probably a horse tail, is painted across leg just below knee. Red: line on tail. To right of leg is part of a spiral ornament. Toes rest on a wheel-glazed line; a second such line partly preserved below. Interior unglazed. Traces of glue on left edge of sherd. Probably from a neck-amphora.
