Description

Ceremonial weapon. Wood, cord and bird bill; roughly woven wood handle bound to large black jabaru stork beak wide open; binding red and black waxed cord and razor grass extends half way down handle; beak tips similarly bound; two blue parrot feathers stuck in holes in bill. Used in fertility rites to ambush spirits.
