Description

Penis clamp. Tatip. Two flat pieces of wood, wide in the middle and tapering to ends, where at one end they are bound together by two small braided rattan peel rings (one of which should probably be at other end). Near this end, one edge is decoratively shaped. Small round hole through centers. Used to hold and flatten the penis so it can be pierced, laterally near the tip. When the wound is healed a metal barbell-shaped ornament can be inserted.

Length 18.5 cm
Credit Line Gift of Alfred C. Harrison Jr. and Dr. H. M. Hiller, 1899
