Description | Bird stands facing left, one leg straight, the other forward, at angle, beak to ground, within frame, preserved except on left side and at corners, of single line of black tesserae. Legs and beak in red. Black for outline of bird, inner neck, outline of wing. Some grey and black used for body. Background in white tesserae. Tesserae irregularly cut. Fragment set in plaster in metal frame. |
