Description | Pilgrim Flask. Complete but sprung. Somewhat wider mouth than the foregoing and more compact handles. Clay: gritty light orange-pink with some airholes; soil discoloration on most of surface. Hand burnished? Paint: matt purple-brown. Blot of paint on rim. Handles barred. 3 concentric circles at center, 3 more at edge of body. |
