Description | Small ovoid jar with flat base. Globular body, almost carinated at widest point of oval. Straight sided neck, very slightly flared from shoulder. Light orange paste with fine grit temper. Exterior and inside of beck have thick cream slip with red/brown paint; both slip and paint are burnished. Three annular bands painted around rim and neck; body decorated with 4 horseshoe-shaped loops hanging from the top of the shoulder, filled with 3 to 4 lines of vertical zig-zags. |
