Description

Buddhist palm leaf manuscript. Pali and Sinhalese; Sinhalese script. No date or scribe. Title: Saleyyakasutta; Salayyasutta/Saleyyusutra; text and commetary. (For contents of sutra see G. P. Malalasekera, Dictionary of Pali Proper Names.) Palm leaves. Excellent condition. 74 folios; lettered ka to gha, gha to hl. 8 lines per folio side. Two lateral holes with tie cord. Stained wood covers.

Comments: Two lateral holes with a tie cord. Stained wood covers. The folios beginning the commentary (ka) and the sutta proper (gho) are written on between the lateral holes only. For contents of the sutta see G.P. Malasekera, Dictionary of Pali Proper Names.
